It’s time to get medieval again as Play’n GO heads back to Camelot for Diamonds of the Realm. Guinevere and Arthur are happily living their lives as rulers of Britain when disaster strikes. Arthur’s arch enemies Morgan and Mordred have attacked the castle and stolen Guinevere’s diamonds. Players must now retrieve the Diamonds of the Realm by winning free spins.

This is the third Camelot-themed release from Play’n GO, following The Sword and the Grail and The Green Knight. Diamonds of the Realm is virtually identical to the previous entries in the series, with some small changes in the symbols and the math model. However, this is not a dis; the game is stunning, as were the prequels.

Diamonds of the Realm is a seriously eye-pleasing game with the usual attention to detail from Play’n GO. The graphics are beautiful, and the soundtrack is a solid medieval theme that adds atmosphere while not being overbearing. The background is Camelot under siege at night, with lit windows and overcast skies portending doom. The game grid will look familiar to players of the previous two games, with a few small changes to the appearances of some characters.

The low pay symbols for Diamonds of the Realm are coins inlaid with the letters J, Q, K, A, and T. The high pay symbols are the main characters of the game Mordred and Morgan, Guinevere and Arthur. All the personalities look amazing; apparently, everyone is gorgeous in Camelot. A magnificent inset diamond is the scatter symbol, and the wild is a royal red coat of arms.

Diamonds of the Realm has a few interesting features. Let’s take a look.

The win multiplier is at the top of the Diamonds of the Realm game grid and randomly spins along with the reels. Thus, if players land a win while the multiplier is in play, they win that multiplier.

Players who land three diamond scatters trigger five free spins with the multiplier activated for each spin. This means that all wins in the Diamonds of the Realm free spin game are guaranteed at least a 2x multiplier.
