We have seen our fair share of fruit-themed slot games, but Fruity Crown takes the literal crown by offering 100 paylines, which is more than what we’ve seen so far from its competitors.
Although the symbols are quite polished, the game is a sort of throwback tribute to the slot games we see in the 70s. The gameplay is fairly simple to understand, without any unusual features. Those who know slot games will have an easy time determining the winning lines and racking up coins with Fruity Crown.
The design is quite simple, with a 5×4 golden-framed grid on a monotone background. Everything is clear-cut and simple, making Fruity Crown a great entry-level game.
Although we deem it to be entry-level, the RTP (return to player) should by no means be taken lightly. It’s lower than the average 96%, sitting at 95.92%. Already that can be a bit discouraging, but with the number of active paylines, Playson couldn’t make things too easy for players. What would be the fun in that?
The maximum jackpot is recorded at 5,000x your initial stake. It isn’t the highest we have seen, but still pretty impressive. It is enough for most players to give it a try and can make up for the lower RTP.

The more you bet, the more you win. The betting range is pretty standard, starting from 0.2 and going up to 100. If you want the highest maximum jackpot available, go for the 100.
Fruity Crown is really just a classic slot game without any overly fancy features. The crown, which is the wild symbol, is an expanding one. It is seen on reels 2 - 4 and can expand to fill up the entire row. Just as in other slot games, the wild can substitute for any other symbol, but in this case, not the scatter.
The scatter is the diamond star, which shows up on the odd-numbered reels. If, by chance, you get it to land on all three reels, you will earn 20x your stake. Of course, this is all left up to chance, so fingers crossed!
Fruity Crown also features another scatter in the form of a gold star. This one offers a higher yield since it can appear on all reels. If you land 3 - 5 of these stars, your payout can range from 3 - 100x your initial stake!
In terms of the theme and design, we aren’t overly impressed with Fruity Crown, but this is also because it’s quite a common theme. However, a common theme doesn’t automatically write off a slot game, and Fruity Crown has a lot to offer in terms of simplicity.

It’s a very easy to understand game, which makes it a great choice for newbies, and we won’t say the winning potential is low either. One thing that could deter potential players would be the RTP. But with the number of payways and the average betting range, Fruity Crown can still yield lucrative wins.
All in all, Fruity Crown is a nice and easy throwback to old school slot games and doesn’t over complicate things with fancy features, making it a good game for those who want to play it safe.
