The first reaction to this game was incredible graphics and very powerful, sinister music. This gives you a prelude of the quality of this slot game. Game of Gladiators tells the tale of strong, capable warriors and their fight for survival. The characters have been created magically and as symbols, when certain features come up, they come to life within the reels. That alone made this game one of the most exciting slots I’ve played yet. Not only are you excited about winning money but you get visually stimulated by the graphic design.

The background is stone walls which of course the gladiators would be confined to as they fought for their lives. There are the letters A, K, Q, and J along with some gladiators that give you some great chances to win when they appear.
Rectiarus will give you the best wins when he appears. Making perfect sense, there is a tiger who just so happens to be the wild symbol. This big cat gives out awesome payouts and when he appears, he lets out a fierce roar. This just adds to the excitement of the fact your wins will be x25 greater.
The basic way to win is if there is a Primus mystery feature triggered. There are 5 of these in the game.
A Gladiator will appear which becomes a bonus payout. It depends on the feature. If the Sword Attach feature is on reel one and there are 2 - 4 symbols of the same, this can lead to 5 reels having the same symbol. If the Net Attack feature shows up, any of the Gladiator symbols on the reels will be held. You also get one free respin. If you get a bunch of Gladiators showing up in that spin, there’s a good chance you’ll bring in some good winnings. If you get the Enraged feature triggered, there will be expanded tiger wilds brought into the game.
This feature will occur when there are three Gladiator symbols knows as Portcullis on reels. They have to fall on 1, 3, and 5 at the same time. You get to choose a champion which will replace Portcullis.
Your options are:
- Spartacus who is the male.
- Amazonia who is the female.
This will then be the Champion used for the scatter for as long as the feature is active.
Free spins are all yours until the battle has been won by you or lost. Every time a scatter falls on the reels, there will be a battle. If other symbols show up that match, they are brought together to the top of the game. There is a Battle Meter which keeps track of the battles you’ve won. The more symbols you have, the bigger your prize will be for a battle well won.
Landing scatters equal an attack on gladiator symbols. This will destroy that group. The breakdown is, if there are 2 scatters on the reels then 2 groups will be attacked. Three scatters equals three attacked. So this also triggers 2 or x3 multipliers which increase your Battle prize.
You win the battle if you destroy all the groups. If your battle meter is filled up by the groups, the battle is lost. When you get a scatter, the gladiators that are on the reels will be put to your Battle meter. You get free spins throughout the whole battle.
When you are the champion of the battle, there are a few different Victory Prizes. The gladiator Amazonia will get you 20 - 300 times your original stake. If you were using Spartacus, you’ll be playing the Enter the Arena Battle feature again. This gives you more chances to win within that function.
