The first Golden Glyph game was very popular, which spawned the studio to develop a sequel: Golden Glyph 2. The game is yet to be released, so there is still limited information on what it will bring to the table. Does it outdo its predecessor and bring more features, or will it fall short?
From what we do see, the game still takes on an Ancient Egypt theme with no clear and discernable paylines due to the cluster pay mechanic. We see pointy pillars standing stoic in the background with sand dunes we have come to associate with the geography of northern Africa.
We can also faintly see pyramids and palm trees and a clear blue sky, making you wonder if Golden Glyph 2 is set in the olden days or if you’re a tourist visiting one of the Seven Wonders.
From what we have gathered, Golden Glyph 2 will have a 7×7 grid and no paylines, as we mentioned. There doesn’t seem to be a jackpot system, and the max payout is yet to be announced. However, if we were to venture a guess, we would think the max win is quite valuable just based on the cluster system alone.
The RTP and volatility in Golden Glyph 2 haven’t been determined either, but from experience, high-paying games tend to have a lower return to player and increased volatility. Keeping that in mind, we are excited for the game’s release to report back.

What we do know so far is slot will be an improved version that has what its predecessor has in terms of statistics but more. The betting range is also still up in the air, but we assume it will be something standard, perhaps, somewhere along the lines of 0.20 - 100.
The release date is set in June 2021, and without experiencing the game firsthand, we still aren’t sure how different Golden Glyph 2 will be compared to the first version. The first Golden Glyph had the same cluster pay mechanic and also wilds, free spins, and multipliers - nothing out of the ordinary. However, they also had a symbol removal feature that made room for more potential winning combos.
Golden Glyph 2 may feature the above, but there will also be a focus on respins on top of the free spins and other bonuses such as power-ups. Quickspin also incorporated a bonus buy feature that allows you to bypass the requirements and instantly participate in the free spin rounds.
We will come back with a full review of Golden Glyph 2 once the game has been released, but from what we can see, we definitely anticipate a better version of the first Golden Glyph. Smoother gameplay can be expected, and the developers have treated the game with HTML5. You can enjoy the cluster wins from your mobile, and Quickspin also boasts of higher hit rates in the second rendition.
