Yokozuna Clash starts out as a pretty dull game. There are two fun loving Japanese sumos on a platform. They are making some slight movement while the reels move. From time to time, one of them will grunt and stomp their foot. With that, there would be some kind of reward, whether it was a wild thrown on the reels or a x2 win if you happened to land any paying symbols during the time. For a while there is not much action in Yokozuna Clash.

The fun started when you got a chance to get into features. This includes the free spin, which they have named the tournament round. In this feature, a classic match ensues where the sumo wrestlers match up against each other. The name of the game was to throw the other wrestler off the edge, just like a legitimate match. While all of this is going on, you’re getting some wins on the reels.
Yokozuna Clash Basics
Yokozuna Clash has 5 reels with 243 ways to win. An added bonus is it’s a pay in either direction. Acting as a sumo wrestler, the game is won if you beat other opponents. If you do, you get yourself a trophy and you’re progressing with bigger winings along the way. There is a minimum of 0.10 bet with a max of €/£125. There the standard way of getting some wins through matching symbols. When you’re in the basic game, there isn’t much going on.
However, these are a few of the features:
- Sumo Riku will throw you 2 wilds whenever he feels like it. He is the one with the blue belt on.
- Sumo Haru will give you either x2 or x3 multipliers when he stomps his feet on the mat. He has a green belt on.
Features
- A game within game where you get to play along and fight.
- Feature Clash.
- Free spin variations.
- Max of wins - 243.
Yokozuna Clash Competition
Yokozuna Clash is all about competition excitement. Will you come out with the winning trophy and plenty of wins? This is just a fancy way of letting you know you’re about to get free spins. There are a few levels, making it progressive. You get to these tournaments under a condition that the free rotations symbol appears on reels.
Those happen to be the 1st and 5th in Yokozuna Clash. Unfortunately, you don’t get to choose whom you will oppose to. You also don’t get to decide if you will be Riku or Haru. Each fighter has their own superpower and also comes as a prize package for you. It could be wilds or multipliers, it’s up to the game though what you’re going to get. As you level up, you get bigger payouts.
As the two big sumos guys go at it, they attempt to push each other out of the ring. While this is going on you’ll be getting points. You actually get to participate in the round. You click your mouse or move your finger from left to right. Doing this will shove your opponent closer to being kicked out of the ring. During the spins, getting a combo is going to cause him to shove you back.
To monitor the progress of the fight, you’ll see a bar below. When it becomes red, you are going to be thrown out. Then it’s back to the normal play until the next opportunity arises. If it goes blue, congratulations, you move onto the next fighter.
- You only need to beat two wrestlers for the trophy.
- Get to the finals and earn x2 multipliers. Beat the last sumo and you’ll have this added to total stake.
Pros
It’s a very different way of playing a slot, which is kind of intriguing. Very creative way to present basic features we are used to.
Cons
Other than the part where you get to wrestle in a tournament, the game is quite dull.
